100 weeks ago (according to Instagram) I created these delicious cupcakes for my boyfriend's father. Chocolate cake (representing the muddy bottom of a lake) blue frosting (representing the blue of the water) and a fish swimming in the frosting (I usually decorate with sprinkles but no fish sprinkles had been invented yet!)
Compliments rolled in. The cupcakes were adorable. Blah blah blah.
Here we are nearly two years later and I'm strolling through the grocery store and I see this
BLUE FROSTING SOLD WITH FISH SPRINKLES! It's like they had me wired or something.
I AM SO MAD.
Lesson learned: if you do something unique and original... Do not post it to social media and don't share it with anyone. The Pillsbury Dough Boy is out there. Watching our every move.
BEWARE OF THE PDB PEOPLE! Godspeed on your summer baking projects.
(In other news the frosting ain't that bad)
