To whom it may concern,
I was recently involved in a car accident on 115th and Pulaski. After several confused phone calls to the dispatcher it was determined that an officer was to be sent to the scene.
Given the state of the country (mostly referring to the conflicts in Baltimore and St. Louis) , police officers are perceived as the enemy in the media. It is not my personal belief that police officers are as the media claims them to be, and the officer that came out to my accident scene proved my personal beliefs to be true.
The officer that came out to my accident site was incredibly helpful and kind. I was so scared and flustered that I had been rear ended and he was so patience, explained to me what would happen next, and even held my umbrella for me while I tried to find my license and insurance information.
I want to thank him for being so kind and for helping me. I did not catch his name (how rude of me) but he was such a help on a rough day. Thank you all for serving us so well and with such grace and dignity and thank him special for me.
Thanks again!
