Why is it so hard to simply do what we love? One cousin of mine does a job she likes (architect) to fund the hobby she loves (traveling). Another cousin does a job she tolerates (something in hospital business) to fund things she loves (shopping, coffee, etc.) Why can't all of our careers be the "love" part? Why can't I write all day long to fund the financial horror that is grocery shopping? Why can't I sit in a Starbucks all day and then go home to do laundry?
Are these people (and myself) an anomaly? Does any millennial love their job?
I am truly thankful for this blog challenge because it has pushed me to remember what it is I love to do. I love to write! I love to share my crazy thoughts with the world. I'm okay (for now) with earning my money in other ways... but I've GOT to know... does anyone ever end up living their dream and using it to fund the less glamorous parts of their life?
